Pool is special. The perspective has changed. All about are uncertain wobbles and connection. Water is so so special. It’s been a trope in my life. I’m called to it. It keeps the parts of us we need, reflected. It becomes a part of us, protected. It floats us, suspended. I loved swimming with you. I still go to Greece. I look in rock pools for you. I still miss you when I look at koi fish. Thank you for swimming with me, splashing me. Teaching me to dive. Calling me a mermaid. Your water baby. Playing with me. You were Pan, definitely. All mischief and wildness. I have a syrinx. That was what Panpipes were called once, you know. Simon Peter Pan Gould. I carry it in my back. It doesn’t hurt me.”
